What are your most treasured possessions?

There are many possessions I have collected over the years that I treasure. My walking staff, my drinking horn, my bow but it's the memories I have of family and friends who have joined the souls in the Baobab Forest that I treasure the most. I like to think the memories I have of them are mine and no one can share then with me.

What makes you laugh out loud?

When I think about Jomo drinking black kava for the first time. Ayo and I had convinced our mother that it would be an honour if she allowed us to prepare it for him. We felt it was important that he was now old enough to drink real kava along with us. Ayo and I went down to the river and collected a pot of fresh water before setting it next to the fire to boil. We even went about cleaning Jomo's cup, making sure we got rid of any traces of milk. We then set about making the best cup of kava in Zjarri but instead of adding ground kava beans to the boiling water we added sand. The look of disgust on Jomo's face when he took his first sip of 'real kava' still makes me laugh. Needless to say he still drinks his kava with milk to this day.

What is the favourite part of your body?

Without a doubt my rock hard stomach muscles when I'm around a roaring Zjarrian fire!

Your biggest embarrassment?

The day I get swimming in a river near my home and a monkey stole my hide pants. I had left my red scarf behind and I had nothing else to wear so I had no choice but to walk into a crowed village, naked.

Describe yourself in three words.

Friendly, determined, brave.

Megan Futcher's Mini-Bio:

People and cultures have always fascinated me and I enjoy thumbing through heavy books on anthropology and archaeology. My novels and novellas dive into an unknown world before recorded history and I love asking the 'what if' question while I share online and write the 4 born, a fantasy spin on human evolution and freedom exploring strength and beauty of multiculturalism.

Wind and Fire Synopsis:

In a world where the four elements rule as gods, the Gaias of Wind, Fire, Water and Earth determine the existence and fate of every man and women. Threatening this seemingly perfect world is the Fourborn – a yet to be identified baby born of all four races and the only one who has the power to set mankind free from it's elemental shackles.

Divinely chosen in the pending chaos is a guardian from each race. With the words of an ancient prophesy as their only guide, they must find and protect the Four born at all costs or risk losing everything they hold dear.
