Joro

  • Gaia: Jora (Earth Mother, Our Mother Jora).
  • People: Jorans, Earth People.
  • Language: Joran.
  • Element: Earth.
  • Elemental Resource: Jora Provides for All Needs.
  • Races Ability: None.

The greenest and most fertile of the four lands, Joro is seeped in the unbelievable and surreal. With its rolling hills, flowery meadows and moss covered forests, Joro is the birth place of red-heads, vegans and frenzied spring festivals. The few brave souls who have ventured into this land, describe Joro as a flawless, maze of green, where you are guaranteed to experience all four seasons in one day.

The cool, misty air that looms over Joro is thick with magic and a kind of awe that can only be explained by a mysterious presence of love and kindness. The Earth People are as mystifying and as curious as the land itself and upon meeting them you will be left with many more questions than you have answers.

The Jorans, a docile people, call the perfect landscape around them home and choose to live in the tree trunks and high up in the branches instead of in conventional houses. Living in a utopian world, the Earth People are not particularly advanced or skilled in any area and they are not hunter-gathers nor are they farmers. Food, water and natural resources are magically provided for and no one really lifts a hand in any real manual labour. The Earth Mother simply provides.

Man, woman and beast live together in harmony. The only true ruling force in Joro is a presence that no one can really explain, but it is felt in the forests, in the warm breath of a summer breeze and in shadows and flickers of light.
